The other one was bad, but Cotto was completely controlling the fight when it happened and Judah pulled his head down pretty much causing it.
      Exactly...

The first 1 was right on the Frank and beans...but the second 1 was right on the belt.

and thats the 1 that had Zab dragging himself across the mat looking like he had just got shot in the gut...

someone should make a gif of that second supposed low blow....a complete farce...

      I hope Cotto punches Manny's **** off.

      haha

As I recall, Cotto himself said during the NY conference (which could be found on youtube) that weight will NOT be an issue. Again, Cotto signed the contract, and in another interview he said he felt confident of winning as soon as he signed it. Hmmmmmm..

Think about it. If that's the case, NO-ONE should be making an argument for Cotto. You shouldn't be seeing threads of Cotto possibly destroying Pacquiao with his supposedly superior boxing, strength, size, etc.

Analysts are boxing fans too. They can get caught up in the moment. When you look at it on paper--Cotto has the advantages.

Cotto barely threw any body-shots against Margarito though. And I think it has to do with ppl always trying to point fingers at him saying he purposely throws low-blows.
Cotto already admitted the reason he didn't throw body shots against Margs was because he couldn't find an opening. More likely didn't want to commit to the body so he didn't have to take any shots back in return.

Whether you like to admit it--when Cotto's gets frustrated be that with cuts or not landing his shots---he somehow manages to foul people. Does he do it everytime? Of course not but it does happen regardless of whether it's intentional.

Roach is an ass with trying to accuse Cotto of doing on purpose, **** Freddy Roach. Roach is a tasteless!

That is what I say, Roach acting like a b*tch now. Roach, dont worry about it, get Manny a cup and he will be alright..........

Don't be daft. The underdog often wins. Just because he may win isn't a reason why he shouldn't go into the fight as the underdog.

They both have advantages. Pacquiao has blinding speed, very unpredictable movement, and the footwork to move in and out of range before the opponent can get set. Cotto has a weight advantage (but not a huge one, they're only separated by one weight division now); a superb hook, excellent jab, great counter-punching ability, he's a good body puncher, and has very good timing. Both have superb accuracy and good power. They're more or less the same height as each other.

IMO, it's a pick 'em fight. The analysts who favour Pacquiao mostly do so because think that Cotto isn't the same fighter since the Margarito fight. They could be wrong, but you can't say that they're definitely wrong until we've seen him against Pacquiao.

Also, many of them are basing their prediction partly on his performance against Clottey, but there I do agree that it's irrational to do so, because almost no one could perform impressively if they were blind in one eye for 9 out of 12 rounds.

In any case, very few analysts have made a prediction yet. The betting odds favour Pacquiao, but betting odds are set by the punters, not by experts. We'll see what the experts predict closer to the fight. My guess is that most of the experts will agree that it's a pick 'em fight.
