That's clearly rubbish. Clottey had a hand injury from the 4th round against Margarito and may well have won if it hadn't been for that, as he dominated the early rounds. And if Margarito had been blind in one eye for most of the fight, he'd definitely have lost.

It's funny how everyone said that Khan's "win" over Barrera was meaningless because Barrera was blind in one eye, and yet so many people refuse to apply the same standards to Cotto that they apply to Barrera! What double standards.

    • Judah is just a ****, he retaliated and headbutted Cotto intentionally and opened up a cut on Cotto, but it made no difference because Cotto can fight through that **** because he is a real fighter, unlike Judah.

I scored Clottey/Magarito a draw! I thought Clottey did a hell of a job with fighting with an injured hand! Many scored the first 5 rounds of that fight for Clottey and one of the latest rounds could also go his way!

As for Clottey/Cotto - it is all about attitude! I thought Cotto did more by fighting with a severe cut, he turned the "bicycle" mode in the last rounds, but i can hardly blame him for that! HE could`ve give the ref a hint (like Startrack did) and say: "Yeh, i can fight, but i have such a bad cut that i can hardly see!" and make it a no-contest in the first four... He could say he couldn`t see anythiung after the sixth round! And if you remember he kept Clottey most of the round on the ropes, and at that point he was deffinitely winning on the scorecards! HE could force the stoppage and get a TD!

            BUT HE DIDN`T!!!

Instead he fought for 9 full rounds with a cut which was becoming more severe as Clottey was punching it constantly!!!

Although i should say that any score from 115-112 for Cotto to 115-112 for Clottey is possible! It is just the matter of your attitude!

P.S. there is quite a reason why i defend and will defend the fighters like Klitschko, Cotto, Clottey, Pacquaio, Marquez broths and etc. I think the sport of boxing needs such kind of guys! I think they are what is boxing about! And when somebody starts to abuse the crowd-pleasing fighters (all-above said except probably Klit. and Clot.) i`m getting really angry! How can anyone hate the fighter who gives you something for what you turn on the TV???

So I guess that Margarito didn't do anything to hurt Clottey's hand but Cotto messed up his ankle by throwing him to the canvass. Margarito went into the fight against Clottey with an ankle injury. But injuries only apply to the Margarito-Clottey fight. I get it now.

Margatio's ankle injury reportedly disrupted his training but there were no signs of it in the fight itself. Bottom line, neither Clottey nor Margarito were at their best when they fought each other, but most people thought Clottey's hand injury was much more of a factor than Margarito's ankle injury. And if Margarito had been half blind for most of the fight, he'd have lost.
