Muguia's leaky defense and Canelo's excellent shot selection is a bad combination for Jaime. Canelo will be hitting him with shots from all angles.I think Canelo works over his body and ends it in 6-7 rounds.

I don’t think canelo was ever as good as advertised and was always a bit overrated. Sure he’s good, but never was truly the best fighter in the world at any point. But yes, he’s slowed down for sure. The charlo fight was fools gold to get people who don’t know boxing to believe him when he says “nobody beats this canelo”. But if he truly believed what he was saying, he wouldn’t be ducking the real smoke and trying to minimize risk to this extent.

And canelo has a granite chin, and chose munguia over benavides

I believe this version of Munguia can win this fight
Canelo is in big decline and if Munguia can be patient like he showed in the Ryder fight , he can win this fight

I like some of the words used for this article. AVOIDED - running like a chicken, DELAY Benavidez fight, running like a chicken, no bal??, Remember, Canela does not fight the full three minutes of each round (maybe 1 minute), throws one big shot at a time (Bivol fight), Munguia needs to fight smart, box and enough pressure on Canela, without not getting brave. Munguia also needs to remember, it's a 12 round fight, don't be in a big hurry and make a mistake. Knocking this coward in the 12th round will be good for the boxing world.

Is this the next step to fluffing up Munguia with a week to go till the match so when Canelo inevitably defeats him it becomes a great win or something?

Whether Father Time has caught up to Canelo Alvarez; It’s all up to Jaime Munguia. It all begins and ends with him .

He needs io turn this bout into a firefight. Test the older fighter’s engine, stamina and conditioning.

He’s the one who is going to have to expose whether Canelo has declined or not but he must be willing to take risks in order to do so.
