Due to his very dumb management, Canelo loses when he goes up too high in weight, 175 vs Bivol or too low, 152 vs Mayweather.

Canelo hasn't lost at 168, and I personally think Canelo was at his best weight class at 160. However, he seems to be slowing down just a bit and Mungo is the younger, fresher fighter atm. If Canelo's not on his A-game, he might have a rough night with Mungo.

Mungia is definitely a very live dog , he's got power and a serious engine. Canelo likes to fight slow. If Mungia can take Canelos power , it could be a really long night for Canelo. We shall see.

Bit flattering to describe Munguia as a live dog -- and I like Mungauia.

He's never fought anyone near Canelo's level. He doesn't have good defensive skills. Canelo has picked him rather than Benavidez for a reason -- which is, that Canelo views him as a low-risk opponent.

I'd say Munguia is more in the realms of "puncher's chance" and that seems a thread-thin chance, because Canelo has a solid chin to go with strong a defensive ability.

In short, Munguia will likely turn out to be tailor made for Canelo's preferred counter-punching approach. Not a terrible fight, just not a particularly good one.

Guy is really hittable... Power is the last thing to go too. With a porous defense against a guy that hits as hard as Canelo, I just don't see it. Even if he could somehow win, I wouldn't be surprised if he took so much damage that he'd never look the same after.
