First of all ramadan has only just ended, devin was fasting & eating at irregular times, assuming he actually a serious practicing ******, but thats another top as well, his natural routine & rhythm would have been disrupted leading to a deterioration in overall sharpness and wellbeing which manifested itself in the ring that night

If he couldn't hurt opponents at 135 and 140, i'm not sure he can do it at 147? I know he did hurt Prograis, but that was an outlier. Maybe a good test for him @ 147, would be Conor Benn, or Adrien Broner?

Haney has gotten physically bigger. He's gotten stronger. He is at a time physiologically where your man strength comes in. So I do think he got stronger since 135. I also think cutting down that weight had an effect on his strength as well.

All Haney did was fight old guys and leftovers. He waited til other fighters took the risk and reaped the rewards. He didn't beat Loma when he had all the belts. He didn't beat Lopez when he had all the belts. He cherry picked and jumped on Kambosos. He never fought any real punchers for a reason and you see why. His chin was suspect and he has no power. Also it was his 2nd fight at 140. Yet we're talking like he was weight drained. It didn't matter.

I repeat - say what you will but he fought 6 former world champions before he fought Garcia without the backing of major US promoter. Who else is there at his age (25) did the anything close?

His last KO was Antonio Moran in 2019! I just can't see him becoming a threat @ 147! Bud was knocking people out @ 135, 140, and 147, so I could see him knocking out people @ 154! Then I thought Devin was going to have a Mayweather defense? Nah, not so fast! Floyd would've never been hit by that left hook after the first round! So I just can't see any success for Haney @ 147. I hope he proves me wrong! He really has no choice but to go to 147, because the weight cut is killing him!

The Martin fight won't be big money but he's a top 10 guy but not a big puncher, so ideal choice for Haney. After that he should target Teo, who seems to have issues with guys who use a lot of movement. Maybe Haney gets knocked out there but that would be the risk vs any elite puncher.
