On Monday's episode of ProBox TV's "Deep Waters," the crew including former world champions Chris Algieri and Paulie Malignaggi reflected upon former undisputed lightweight champion Haney's first loss, at age 25.

Ryan has shown heart as well as speed. He might not be a defensive wizard like Mayweather, but he is quicker than most at 140. He should go to 147 to make weight easier. Haney is still Haney but he has to recover and move on.

Haney's only hope, to rekindle his career, is a rematch with Garcia at a catch-weight! He's not strong enough for 147. He's outgrown 140, and the weight cut is too much for a guy like Subriel Matias! I'm not even sure he can beat Sandor Martin @ 140? Tank, Shakur, and Teofimo, have no reason to fight him because he got washed, and he was never a draw in the 1st place! Lastly, Pitbull has a fight on August 3rd in L.A.! No Bueno!
