Commit to full 147, make the in house fight with Rocha and then go from there depending on how he looks/feels at the weight

      ^^This is the harsh truth.

Make a fortune doing a trilogy with Haney and then the future losses and resultant drop in popularity will be less painful.

I get that being selective has worked for Tank but Ryan is even more vulnerable. Even being selective might not work. A loss to Haney, at least, isn't likely to result in a career altering brutal beat down.

Ryan Garcia will fight whoever he wants especially now that he's a huge superstar. GBP may suggest fights for him, but he will reject them just to make clear he's the boss, not Oscar.

If it were me I'm not giving Haney the benefit of an immediate rematch. I'd like to see Haney work his way up just like the other top guys and not be given Gamboa-levels or Kambosos-levels, get gifted, pick an overrated Regis, and so on. Let him fight Sandor Martin next for his comeback fight and go from there. Why reward him again with a money fight? Makes no sense. But that's just me. Take it or leave it.

Matias at 140 or Bootsy at 147...keep him away from Pitbull

Keep him off the beers and a Pitbull fight at 140 would be huge.

I wouldn't marinate or play the long game if picking fights for someone like Garcia.
Whilst I agree with the sentiment, Teo is ALL wrong for Garcia. I think he should have one or two easier/showcase fights first and you build a bit of momentum.

That isn't playing the long game, but Teo is basically a guaranteed L
