Boots acts like Bud is his only move. 154 is full of glory. Snatch it from Bud, take Fundora and make Bud come to him.

Boots will never fight Crawford, which means he is a failure.

Boots has one solid name on his resume. A faded Sergey Lipinets. His only title was vacated by Crawford already. To compare him to freaking RJJ or Toney when they fought is absolutely ludicrous.

Roy had already beaten Jorge Vaca, Jorge Castro, Bernard Hopkins, and Thulani Malinga. Toney had already beaten Michael Nunn, Reggie Johnson, Mike McCallum, Doug DeWitt, and Iran Barkley.
I referenced level of talent, didn’t compare their resumes. Might help if you actually read what I wrote. As far as name value, while I acknowledged Boots doesn’t have significant name value to make this a mega fight, who in the fook is Madrimov in comparison? Nobody cares about that guy and the fight would have very little appeal. Title on the line or not. I think it’s pretty clear in this era of boxing that popularity of fights is more based on fight demand and people really don’t care if one these corrupt organizations titles is on the line.

Why didn’t Boots fight Crawford on BLK Prime when the offer was in the table?

It’s like Shakur Stevenson turning down a shot at undisputed against Haney just because he wanted more than 25% of the purse. These young guys have to realize they aren’t stars yet and that they have to bet on themselves and take a risk first, then the money will come. They need to jump on these opportunities instead of wasting them.

The state of boxing is in terrible shape. I can't remember another era where really good fighters went so long without fighting anyone.

Did Bud skip 135 and 140 to make a name at 147?
Did Oscar or Floyd skip divisions for “full glory”?

Boots is 26 and makes 147 easy, why skip it without winning a title?
There is legacy at play here too. Just like ALL the multiple division champions

By what measure are you declaring Ennis a talent on the level of Toney or Jones? I want you to explain to me, in detail, just what in the hell you're thinking when you compare Ennis as a talent to freaking Roy Jones Jr.

Why on earth would you possibly believe fighting a guy for a belt a 147 that he already vacated is a more worthwhile fight than going for two belts at 154?

Fighting 3 bums a year is far better than not fighting at all. It's horrible. We all know all fighters don't take 3 big fights a year. Stay-busy fights are exactly what they are, to keep you staying focus, keep you out of trouble. Keep you sharp always.

Reading really isn’t your strength huh? I don’t think anyone is on the talent level of Roy jones. I didn’t compare anyone to him. But I said, I don’t think there have been 2 fighters of this talent to step in the ring together SINCE Roy Jones vs James Toney.
iIf you know boxing, you could see Boots skill level, his IQ, his speed, accuracy, ability to counter and his power. People who know boxing can recognize high level fighters even before they get their big opportunities. Keep watching the sport, maybe you’ll reach that level one day.
