Ennis is correct ,Crawford is looking at silly fights and Ennis is right there ,many would pick the young guy to beat Crawford , I think he'd at least give him a run to the wire.Spence should;d take the fight if Crawford continues to refuse , he badly needs to redeem himself and is not worthy of a straight title shot after such a mualing.

I believe that fight could be arranged for the right fee. All Eddie has to do is guarantee Crawford a $30- $40 million purse split then the fight is a done deal.

When I look at Boots I see a 154lber an with the currently landscape I'm not sure why he's even wasting his time at 147 now when everyone of importance is moving up

The reason why Boots is currently staying at 147 is because for the exception of the IBF which he currently holds; Crawford still holds all the titles at welterweight.

Agree with Spence’s abhorrent lack of discipline as a fighter. His career marred by substance abuse, gluttony, and antisocial bad choices led him to the one sided beating he got from Crawford. Spence has seen his best days

It's really disappointing that Crawford won't fight Boots. He knows that it's the fight that real boxing fans want him to take and have been for a while. It's a p***y move if you ask me. You have a guy in your weight class who is supposed to be the next big thing , as the boss of the division, you're supposed to take him on .

I’m not confident now that boots will have the career that will make him remembered. His signing with matchroom doesn’t exactly fill me with excitement. His better options would have been TR or PBC with exposure to sports fans on ESPN or Amazon. But matchroom and dazn is where we are so that’s that. Outside of hearn’s propensity to make small fights in the usa, we also live in an era where fans clamour about “superfights” and make excuses for the top fighters to avoid other champions and contenders. I do not understand this mentality of todays you get fans but this is reality. I’ve been watching boxing since the 1970s, an era when champions not only fight up and coming contenders but even contenders fought other contenders. All parties won some and lost some but none of them saw losses as a career ended. Every great of the past has lost, even the great Pacquiao has many losses on his record. What made the greats great is they fought to win each and every time as opposed to fighting not to lose in order to protect their records. Boots is doing himself NO favours by fighting on an obscure app that no American sports fan save the die hard boxing fan will see. He probably won’t get any big name save for maybe Benn, so I hope he makes KO reels out of all 3 matches he’s with matchroom because that’s the only way he is going to make a name for himself

I think that you're right , fighters that get remembered aren't damned near 30 before they accomplish anything in the sport. Those greats were close to finishing up their career at Boots age , or already had done a lot. Just look at recent guys , DLH , Trinidad, Floyd , Morales , etc. By thirty these guys were well established, not prospects or contenders. S**t Naseem Hamed was retired by then.

I referenced level of talent, didn’t compare their resumes. Might help if you actually read what I wrote. As far as name value, while I acknowledged Boots doesn’t have significant name value to make this a mega fight, who in the fook is Madrimov in comparison? Nobody cares about that guy and the fight would have very little appeal. Title on the line or not. I think it’s pretty clear in this era of boxing that popularity of fights is more based on fight demand and people really don’t care if one these corrupt organizations titles is on the line.
