    Very true.

Trampler "cherry-picked" the easiest beltholders for Oscar to get straps from. In fact, DON'T GO TO BOXREC. I would bet that only us most experienced and knowledgeable posters would know who Oscar got his belts from. I remember Oscar dropping down to pick up hardware from Bredahl.

By contrast, Floyd got his SFW from Genaro Hernandez. The real guy. At 21 years old. And then Castillo. Gatti. Judah. etc.

Delahoya was being fed older/smaller fighters while Floyd was getting Corrales/castillo/Chavez/Famoso/manfredy/etc.

      .
I thought they picked Urkal bc he had beaten Migs in the amateurs...?

But you guys just want to keep debating me about this and not admit that I have a legit point.
        I
ts not like he's fighting one bum after another. before Gomez he fought Mosley and after him Margarito. He fought Torres a top undefeated prospect with K.O. power than he fought Branco who just had 1 lost and then he fought the undefeated Malinaggi to then fight undefeated Quintana who beat Williams two fights after that. These ain't shot fighters in there U know.

Nah. Pinto and Abdulaev beat Cotto in the ams....Urkal was simply the WBA mandatory after Cotto beat Quintana.

Cotto was in the drivers seat. If it was the other way around, it would have been the same ****, it was nothing but a tune up for a mega fight.

And of course I see you respond to him and not me because you know I'm right.
And Cotto needed an easy opponent after he lost to Margarito. I get what you're saying.

Can't blame Cotto for fighting a bum after the brutal beating he took from margarito. Howver WBO making it a fight for Williams vacated title was BS. Didn't they strip Williams when he infact wanted to hold the 154 and 147 title at the same time?

Jesus Christ man. When I answered a question, I even admitted that Cotto was the least protected of all those fighters I mentioned. And now these Cotto stans just want to keep on an on until infinity. But to answer your question, yeah it was bull**** that Williams had to give up his title for not fighting Jennings. But at least HBO was right in not showing favoratism toward Cotto and letting him fight him on their network. Because if they did, they would've been giving Cotto the exact opposite treatment that they gave Paul. Because they kicked a Williams-Jennings fight to the curb as well.

Cotto, Pacquiao, and Pavlik don't get babied, but just about all their younger up and comers don't face much live competition.

Just cause it's necessary make you aware that the point you were trying to make was #1. Wrong, #2 pointless.
