When does Mauricio ever follow his own rules? Only when he can make money from it. He ignores the rules all the time. I think the deal was that Fundora was supposed to fight Bohachuk for the vacant WBC. So since Fundora is moving to main event, the title will still be on the line for him, and Bohachuk will fight Ring #3 Brian Mendoza for an interim belt. I think that we're actually getting better fights out of this, TBH.

We are getting better fights, but that doesn't make up for the fact that vacant titles can't be used in unification bouts.

Although it happens too often anyways.

1 eyed Willie and Al bulls.hittin him. He's now petitioned and been granted mandatory at 154. Aint nobody at ww worth watching right now. Email Ennis left the wbo rankings when Crawf was making nothing but mando and voluntary fights. Turned down Buds offer 2 years ago cause of network loyalty (howd that work out?)....

and Bootsy has a fight lined up any way lol
I didn't say it was Crawford's fault and it indeed was 100% because of Spence, but that doesn't change the fact that in the end it was 8 month completely wasted. I've been saying since before Spence activated his worthless rematch clause that it was a waste of time, and as expected it was a waste of time.

In a perfect world, Spence would never have activated his rematch clause, Then about a month after July Crawford officially vacates all four of his belts, and would've either had a match scheduled with Jermell before he was stripped of all three belts or atleast with two left, or if not Jermell he would've been the one fighting Tszyu this month instead of Thurman or Fundora as a start.

Honestly, who cares? This means fewer title holders and that's always a good thing. Fundora got knocked out by Mendoza in his last fight, he shouldn't have been in a title fight to begin with, but at least now it's the winner of Tszyu/Fundora and not Bohachuck/Fundora.

Bohachuck is certainly getting screwed. Now he's fighting Mendoza for an interim strap instead of a weaker fighter for a full strap.

1 eyed Willie (Spence) and Al did this sh.it on purpose in my and many opinions. He embarrassed 1 of their few stars. Wilder already got exposed and really all they have left is Wahid.

Anyway, Crawf is continuing to bet on himself and hope this goes the way it should.

As long as he doesn't get cute and chases a totally worthless Canelo fight again after Tszyu. The fact that even a rumor actually lasted longer than an idiotic youtube video is just beyond sad. I guess the fact that Tszyu-Fundora became a match for unified makes it so that the outside chance of going undisputed in 154 before retirement isn't completely lost yet.

I really don't see Crawford fighting in his 40s beyond 2026 and has three, MAYBE four matches tops with luck, but what theoretically could borderline still happen with fingers crossed:
              • Sometime possibly in late-Summer/Fall time 2024. fight Tszyu to become 4 division champion/unified @154.
              • Early summer 2025, age 37 fight one of the other two belts.
              • Possibly around late-spring of 2026, age 38 fight for undisputed.
              • Retire shortly after going undisputed, or fight one last time for a victory lap money grab against whoever he feels like at the end of the year age 39 and then retire. At this point I don't care if it is something ****** like a Canelo fight if he's still fighting, and is still a money maker
However, I am also not banking on it as I can totally see Crawford fight Tszyu and win to become unified, and then aim for a Canelo cash bag next year again then retire or some disappointment like that. On a random note, as for Tank unrelated to Crawford I think his luster is going to drop after his PPV with Frank Martin sells nowhere near what he did against Cryan Garcia.

I think Crawford gets knocked out at 154. Dude is too small. And he is not as good as Mayweather. And Tim is more dangerous guy than guys Mayweather fought at 154. Tim is a true 154 guy, not some blown up jr. welterweight like Cotto was.

                  Racist ass Arum lol

In seriousness though, I think Bud/Tim is fireworks

Arum is probably truthful that Crawford was a net loss for him. He literally overpaid Crawford who couldnt sell water in a desert.

It doesnt help Crawfords argument that he renewed contracts with Arum multiple times either.

If Crawford fights Tszyu at 154, well, that would be a really ballsy move.

Fighting a hungry much younger undefeated champ from higher weight class is no joke.

Pacquiao and Mayweather would never do something like that by the age of 36.
