He is the Most Boring "boxer" in Boxing.

If he was a "fighter" he wouldn't be running Circles in the Ring.

That is true. That's why tank ducked him and said he won't let me hit him lol. Donaire still fought rigo when rigo was super boring and tank didn't want that to happen to him

The same people criticizing him for being boring that fight would be the same people criticizing him harder if he woulda came at DLS like Valenzuela did and get drilled. Name of the game is hit and don't get hit. He stuck to his gameplan, got the W and the belt. Win now, look good later.
Amen. For as good as Shakur is hes still young into his career & hes gonna have some less stellar nights like others in his position or not in his position. You don't win fans being the boring guy, but you win respect by notching W's in hard fights or bad nights.

And in fairness to Shakur he had been trending towards being a more fun to watch guy before that last fight so I tend to believe him that he was less than 100% & he'll be back to being more entertaining in July. And I do think Edwin holds some degree of guilt for the fight being boring. Shakur didn't do a lot, but Edwin did less. Sometimes a boring fight is one guys fault, this fight felt like a tag team of boredom.

Let's see how he performs in the next fight. Don't have much interest in another reversion to earlier form. That was like Rigo but with even less punching.

Hes definitely at the absolute top end in terms of skills right now. Not gonna **** on him too hard over one stinker of a fight.

Lol @ nobody noticing he retired though.

Don't matter. Olympics or pros, getting hit in the face don't tickle. All these dudes criticizing probably never even been hit by mommy and daddy, let alone another grown man whose willing to truly hurt you. Most would probably fold after eating a jab or two, let along a big power shot from a hard puncher. Most "boxing fans" probably don't even know that the objective is to hit and don't get hit. There's a reason for "protect yourself at all times". Stevenson might not be the most entertaining, but he plays the name of the game to a T. If they wanna see fights, go hang out a bar with the local drunks. This is BOXING, not FIGHTING.

Pitty pat punches, running around the ring is not FIGHTING. He sure embarrassed De Los Santos. The only thing he embarrassed was himself, that he had to retire due to such a horrible performance.

What is he going to do vs Tank? Run even more laps around the ring.
