Amen. For as good as Shakur is hes still young into his career & hes gonna have some less stellar nights like others in his position or not in his position. You don't win fans being the boring guy, but you win respect by notching W's in hard fights or bad nights.

And in fairness to Shakur he had been trending towards being a more fun to watch guy before that last fight so I tend to believe him that he was less than 100% & he'll be back to being more entertaining in July. And I do think Edwin holds some degree of guilt for the fight being boring. Shakur didn't do a lot, but Edwin did less. Sometimes a boring fight is one guys fault, this fight felt like a tag team of boredom.

This is so true. He really was turning it around entertainment wise before this last fight. Nobody really mentions that. Hopefully he continues on that path going forward.

That is true. That's why tank ducked him and said he won't let me hit him lol. Donaire still fought rigo when rigo was super boring and tank didn't want that to happen to him

I used to support Shakur. I still like him, but he shows the same mental weakness that Teofimo and Ryan show. All this talk about quitting the sport, all this sh..t talking on social media and online in general, and not enough fighting in the ring. Another thing I notice about Shakur is that he's a sweet boxer for sure, and he has a lot of skills, but he showed against Nakathila and again against De Los Santos that if you can punch good, Shakur will make u miss, but he won't make u pay, out of fear of getting hit. So he still has some maturing to do as far as boxing is concerned. The good thing is, he's still young. But he can't get online and on social media and talk a lot of sh...t, then go in the ring and don't hit nothing. U gotta stop stinking joints out Shakur. U gotta hit ppl and u gotta hurt ppl. U can't just peck mofos to death, nobody don't wanna see that
