I’m sorry but that’s what Mayweather should’ve done to McGregor

It's not excuses it's just the facts of the matter and a very basic explanation as to why it didn't and wouldn't happen that way, to which you're just putting your fingers in your ears and shouting in response.
Why make a thread when your mind is just made up anyway? You may as well keep it to yourself.
You can't logically compare a prime, 250+ lb, concussive power puncher to a 40 year old, brittle hand, zero killer instinct, none power puncher.
It's night and day and if Floyd could have, he would have. But that's just not in him at that point.
Clearly, the purpose of this thread was to state an opinion that I had my mind made up about lol. What kind of question is that?

It’s a boxing forum. There’s no criteria on what boxing opinions/comments or questions one can post.
It could be a hot take, unpopular opinion, popular opinion, concern, question, whatever.
There’s no criteria, other than it has to be on topic (boxing).
Also “or even discussing them”. We are discussing the topic. It’s a discussion thread about an opinion. It’s being discussed.
Listening to alternative viewpoints…I am reading them, i’m responding to them, I don’t agree with them, i’m countering them.
Not agreeing with you or telling you “oh damn, you’re right, i’m wrong sir!” Doesn’t mean i’m not reading people’s viewpoints.

That doesn’t make any sense.
I said Mayweather should’ve done that to McGregor.
What do you want me to admit? To not think that Mayweather should’ve KO’ed McGregor in 2 rounds? That makes zero sense.
You can’t control each and every thought people have about your favorite fighters. Including their thoughts on ways a fighter should have fought versus certain opponents.

When fans were talking about how Pac KO’ed Hatton, DLH and Cotto, I said styles make fights and Mayweather still schools Pacquiao. That was my opinion then. No Mayweather fan went against me or demanded I change my opinion. And I still feel that way.
Now my opinion is that Mayweather should’ve pushed hard to destroy McGregor, an MMA fighter, in a couple of rounds. Mayweather vs McGregor should have looked like Mayweather vs Manfredy.
Mayweather’s always been undersized. That was nothing new to him. He KO’ed many massive opponents (compared to him). Corrales, Manfredy, Ortiz, Hatton, Hernandez (to name a few) were all bigger than Mayweather on fight night by 15+ or more. And these were actual professional boxers.
Mayweather should have tried harder in that fight. That was a damn MMA fighter with 0 pro fights for god’s sake.
