I’m sorry but that’s what Mayweather should’ve done to McGregor

Fanboys are gonna fanboy but you can just watch the McGregor fight and see Floyd was at a different level of engagement than he was against his credible, dangerous opponents. He was casually walking forward with his hands down and not at all respecting McGregor's abilities. Even against lesser challengers like Berto or Guerrero Floyd was serious and careful, but not against McGregor. It looked like a dad going rounds in the garage with his 14 year old son.

Yeah but he ducked Marg 06-09, Pwill and Pac in 09. If those fights would have happened then you would have had different look on his skillset.

floyd never had much power and was always safety first.... put him in the ring against a blind man and he would still start off working the jab

He bet on himself for a late KO because he knew he couldn't do it early.

He walked McGreggor down behind a high guard, a guy from 130 that was plagued with brittle hands his whole career and who was never a puncher above 135, one of the best defensive fighters in history he could have boxed and would not have been touched, then he gave Connor 25lbs on the night, and stopped him in the 10th when he said bet on the 10th it was on a talkback show before the fight, and he is supposed to come out and sleep Connor in two rounds just like a HW did..

It was well known Floyd hardly trained for that fight, which is probably why Fury didn't also, AJ trained like it was his biggest fight, he actually trained to destroy Francis.

The logic that Floyd should have done the same as AJ is totally irrational thinking, the Floyd walked him down was impressive in its own way when you look at all the variables, and in the end the ref saved Connor form not getting up anyway, it would not have seen the end of the round with Connor taking the full count.

He easily could have, though. Not with power but with unanswered punches. At any point he wanted to, Floyd could've landed 20 unanswered. He chose to carry McGregor late and then stop with a few big shots when he was tired but there was never any point where the outcome was in question and there was never any point where Floyd was distressed to any degree. He did not train seriously for the fight and he didn't fight seriously either. It was plain as day from his demeanor.

This just proves you have no idea how good and dangerous Mcgregor was at that time. He caught Floyd with a number of good shots and counter as it was. The idea Mcregor would have just stood there and let Floyd get off 20 punches unanswered it just ******. Floyd himself said the plan was to take him to deep waters and tire him out. He knew Conor was dangerous early on. Many people can't accept how good Conor looked so invent the excuse of Floyd carrying Conor.

Only because of the walk up style Floyd used, he had no respect for Connors power at all I though that was obvious, that was not anything like the Floyd we seen box 49 times, it was like Floyd in sparing with a LH, high guard work the body make them work.

HWs, you're going further into the twilight zone with this. I think your thread got cooked, and now you're trying to reheat it with rubbish.
