Mayweather carried McGregor. If you couldn't tell that when you were watching you're a casual. At any point in that fight, Floyd could've landed 20 unanswered shots and gotten a stoppage.

I’m sorry but that’s what Mayweather should’ve done to McGregor

I say that as a Mayweather fan. That was just my wish.
AJ a dominant KO arteest don't need referee help.

Floyd was 40 and looked a lot more sloppy than just 2 years earlier when he was 38 in his last real fights. He also isnt a risk taker, he didnt even start throwing until the 4th round, allowing mcgreggor to tire out, that was pretty smart for his cautious style because Conor will go from being lined up in a fencer stance to being squared up and circled around the back ect very quickly. Theres no tape to watch of mcgreggor fighting, he is 20 pounds bigger than floyd and floyd cant take him out with one shot.
You look at Fury and he was just in there mixing it up with francis from round 1, francis switches in and out of southpaw, fury is switching back and forth from southpaw, there is a lot going on with a guy he has no tape of and then he got caught with that counter and embarrassed.
That just isnt floyd's style to take those type of risks, hes going to study mcgreggor first and let him tire out. Tyson could have done the same thing, if you saw how heavy francis was breathing he was getting very tired, tyson didnt capitalize on that.
AJ did have one advantage and that is that he had 8 rounds of tape of francis fighting boxing to analyze. His trainers probably had him sparring a guy francis's height in southpaw and that is why he blasted him with that right hand when he switched.

What caused Mayweather to stop McGregor late was his defensive mentality. Not his size.
You’re really telling me that Mayweather couldn’t have pushed for a stoppage in 2-3 rounds if he went all out on McGregor? You know he could have. Which is my point. I wish he did, and he was supposed to do that imo.
40 year old brittle Floyd? Nah, I don't think so.
AJ has concussive power and is his prime. That fight was only ever going one way.
Floyd at 147 isn't a put your lights out early kind of guy, even against someone with that little experience and especially not at his age he was at where his killer instinct was at 0.
