Benavidez accepted the low ball and called Canelos bluff who then ran away to try and hustle Eddie. Dan Dafael also reported the 55m pbc offer I guess he is lying also, its some grand conspiracy to suggest Canelo received a big money offer for the most lucrative fight in the sport. Thats the level of ******ity the Canelo fan boys have sunk to. No evidence of PBC breaching the contract, for all we know Canelo breached it. You are just spewing biased crap while accusing the writer of being biased. Lul.
Hearn doesn't have a habit of bold face lying like team Benavidez and he's not even Canelo's promoter or manager like Sampson with Benavidez, he's more of a third party in the equation with DAZN. And if there was any doubt about Benavidez crossing the street, Benavidez himself shot it down. Also, team Benavidez has already previously been caught lying about $55M: https://twitter.com/AccordToBoxing/s...49351300222981 But people are suddenly supposed to take him at his word even after he deleted his own tweet about $55M then Benavidez Sr admitted it was Canelo sending them offers lol? Considering Benavidez received an offer and Canelo's schedule remained open and the WBC was set to rule on his mandatory status this March, why in the world would he suddenly rush to fight Gvozdyk if he were really eager for that fight? And why is Benavidez talking about remaining loyal to Haymon first and foremost when all Haymon has done for him is help pad his 0? Nobody's even denying that PBC breached their contract. Or do you think Haymon just let the biggest star out of a multi fight contract out of the goodness of his heart lol?

But somehow none of that is mentioned in the article. No mention of Hearns claims. No mention of team Benavidez's contradictory claims or being caught lying. Just a one sided biased taken, even resorting to casual talk to downplay wins like suggesting champions weren't interested in winning the biggest fight of their careers. The fact that people are always running around like chicken's with their heads cut off about who he'll fight next is an example of the double standards when he's already faced more champs than anyone, doesn't have his next mandatory, and the biggest question is which worthy undefeated champ he'll end up facing next. Meanwhile you have have Bud flat out saying he wouldn't fight his former mandatory/current IBF champ Boots or 3 belt unified Jermell but nobody is sweating who he'll fight next. The way people hype Benavidez, you'd think he fought and beat Bivol coming off the Canelo win instead of being the guy who dropped the belt and ducked the fights to be in Canelo's shoes, and he's still not trying to do next level things or sounding like he's in a rush to make that fight.

Although I respect that we were able to disagree without name calling.

I think my reply to you was pretty definate.

You say Canelo will Never ( with a capital N ) fight Benavidez.

I say he fights him after Munguia.

You kinda painted yourself in a corner though with your "He'll Never fight him" prediction.

          I'm too lazy to check.
But i'm curious if you said the same thing about him fighting GGG.

So you are just blindly saying he fights him with no reasoning other than he fought GGG. lol. I was not around here back then with GGG. Benavidez is another level to GGG though which is why I have been so confident for years Canelo never fights him. You are still in denial I guess I can understand but the writing is on the wall.

              Blindly ?
              No reasoning ?
              In denial ?
              You're trying way too hard.

I'm going off his history as a fighter.
              You're a newby.
              So you might not know.
But Canelo has fought all the so called boogey men that he was supposedly afraid of.

That is your problem. You are ignoring the actual evidence regarding Canelo fighting Benavidez. Everything he has said and done, has demonstrated he does not want to fight him at all.

                • Joshua beats 2 fringe guys, a contender that is barely top 10 and a novice, fans: oh, Joshua is top 3, he is peaking.

Canelo plans to fight top 5 contender, fans: what a disgrace.

                  Just keep it real.

                  • I mean it's not Benavidez but I'm still really looking forward to this fight, Mungia brings it.

Because Canelo is fighting everyone except who he's supposed to be fighting, and that's Benavidez. Now that one, I'll pay $100 for, because I know my man David is coming to take care of business. He's not pawing with the jab, or throwing a, "please stay away from me" kinda jab. He's not going to be posing and waiting for something to happen. He's going to make something happen for 3 minutes of every round. He's coming with that high work rate, every punch in the book, speed and power, a chip on his shoulder, and full of confidence. Munguia is a blown up middleweight. He good, but he ain't David. I'll check this Munguia fight out the next day. This isn't a can't -miss fight. It's better than Ryder or Avni Yildirim, but it's not no PPV
It's better than Joshua vs Francis PPV, Thurman vs Tszyu PPV, Haney vs Ryan PPV. So it's not that bad. Just gave you 3 PPVs this year that are worst than this one in less than 4 months of the year.
