I'm fine with Canelo fighting whoever he wants to fight, including Berlanga. I get the various reasons he took the fights he's had and fights he might take going forward. But, he should give up the belts. He doesn't deserve to have them anymore. And if he doesn't relinquish them, the alphabet orgs should strip him. Immediately.

Well said. I also think more of the ONUS is on the organizations than on Canelo himself. I would love to see Canelo's move if the alphabet soups decided to enforce someone to see if he would toss the belts.

He didn't earn the Lara's fight it was a gift and a very controversial one. He would have earned it if he knew how to cut the ring, and been more accurate, if you want to give him points for trying so poorly is your prerogative, you already have smith as an elite fighter. The question was simple enough, how many elite fighters he has beat without controversy? You wrote a whole chapter for one question which means, you don't know the answer or you want to excuse the reply with some explanation, in any case is a deflection and not a straight answer.

You lost me when you didn't mention ggg first fight (and he was already past his prime, just like kovalev) and when you knowingly left kovalev condition, age and back to back camps with a 12 round grueling fight against yards, and the drained domestic level smith, he didn't opened up against an old Beterbiev, he got smashed to pieces.
