Please share the link where it said the PBC deal was both Charlos then Spence.
But I still stand by My prediction.
Canelo will fight Benavidez after Munguia ( unless him or Benavidez happen to lose their next fights. )
If i'm wrong i'll admit it.
But what are You predicting Nostradomus ?
That he will Never fight Benavidez ?
Or just parrotting the same old " Canelo's scared because he won't fight my guy " ?
He'll never fight Benavidez. I've been saying that since before the Yildrim fight while everyone has been saying "he'll get to it eventually"
It was announced when Bud and Canelo broke their PBC contracts. The deal was originally Mal, Mel and Spence. Spence got bludgeoned by Bud which fked that up, and Canelo didn't want to fight David B. I'm looking for the news tweets now, but it's harder since I don't have twitter and it was a couple weeks ago so I've just found these, which is mainly just ppl reacting to that news
If he doesn't want to fight them (GGG, Benavidez, Morrell) He'll never have to. If Yildrim or Ryder become mandatory, then he will fight them.
Yeah, I didn't want to believe it, but it's become too obvious for even me. If they aren't going to order the fights, the world championship belts don't mean any more than the made up commemorative belts from the WBC.
THIS is part of why it's so baffling to me that people don't respect Inoue more. Imagine what Canelo's career (or Bud, or Ennis, or whichever fighter you want) would look like if they fought the best available competition and used their cash cow status to make the good fights by giving opponents career high paydays instead of keeping all the money for themselves and insisting on rehydration clauses and catchweights etc...
I like this fight a lot but Canelo does look like a little btch for breaking his “no more Mexicans” campaign for Munguia but not for Benavidez. Even as a fan, you have to admit that looks btch made.
But still, I really like this fight. A part of me wants to think Munguia is getting it because he asked for it respectfully and hasn’t talked sh/t about Canelo. Still, just an overall bad look for Canelo breaking his no Mexicans thing all of a sudden for someone not named David Benavidez.
So they should ask politely for a fight now? Lmfao man stfu your a clown
Feels like ppl are giving less fooks about what Canelo is doing.
If hes not fighting Benavidez I'm not very interested in Canelo fighting. I hope Munguia gets a crazy upset in May. I know he'll fight Benavidez if he upsets Canelo
Lmao and your goofyass said haymon has a say on what carnela does in the 3 fight agreement. Clean the pie off your face clown
The Charlo's were both disrespectful when they called out Canelo and it worked for them. Infact Canelo actually said the reason he wanted to fight Mell was because he questioned his skills and he wanted to prove them to him. The fan boys need to stop with the 100 excuses for why Canelo won't fight Benavidez. Canelo has contradicted himself 100 times. He simply is scared to fight him because he knows its a horrible match up for him, which is what anyone with any brains should have known years ago. Simple.
The bias by the writer is ridiculous. He talks about team Benavidez walking away from an offer when team Benavidez has been caught lying back and forth about offers including deleting a previous claim about $55 after being called out then Benavidez Sr admitted Canelo had sent them an offer, but David went to fight Gvozdyk. Also, there's no mention of Hearn stating that he sent Benavidez an offer to fight on DAZN but he wanted to dictate the networks. Or that Benavidez himself said he'd refuse to cross the street even though he's the B side who needs Canelo not the other way around. And no mention of PBC breaching their contract with Canelo.
Also, the writer describes GGG as lethargic and Charlo was simply disinterested when neither champ has ever been reluctant to let their hands go and they had the world to gain by beating Canelo, but you think they were suddenly reluctant just 'cause lol? Literally, Canelo's trademark is making opponents reluctant to let their hands go when he gets his offense going including much bigger champ Smith. Instead of giving him credit for neutralizing elite fighters, he tries to downplay it with his framing.
