Love him or hate him...the kid has BALLS and other fighter's should take a leaf out of his book.
You would fight them too for some millions. How did Ryan lose the Tank fight ? Did he go down guns blazing, life on the line ? Or was it a soft touch and called it quits ?

These are grown men. I don't believe grown men need to mince words with each other. Ryan Garcia went to Reynoso's gym to be part of a stable of proven professionals and learn from the best. He regarded Canelo as a mentor, but then cried his eyes out when Canelo spoke honestly about him - all in a sincere effort to help him out. Ryan Garcia lacks the maturity to accept well-intentioned criticism and that's why he never belonged in that gym.

It's easy for Garcia to get these bouts because of his star-power, but he lacks credibility. He keeps taking these big fights because he wants to earn that credibility as quickly as possible, without actually building himself properly. He has rushed the process because he has zero patience and doesn't actually want to have a long-lasting career. If he loses to Haney, he's likely to drag another contender from 135 as a stay-busy like he did vs. Duarte. Then he'll call out Teofimo, and rinse/repeat until he either gets the big victory he's seeking or the fans stop caring about him.

Not necessarily…plenty of fighter’s have cherry-picked their opponents and avoided facing the best competition in their prime e.g. Floyd-Pacquiao.

However, I do agree that Ryan quit during the Tank fight but that was probably to avoid a devastating KO and to preserve his career. However, he still SHOULDN’T have quit. Regardless, it takes balls to face Tank + Haney in the span of 3 fights and to take on a 25-1 guy with an 80% KO ratio straight after getting stopped.

Carnela wasn't giving a direct answer. He literally lashed out almost whining about cryan leaving when asked about ruiz. Not their fault they wised up and left their gym before getting roided up like carnela and Valdez.

            Lol learning from the best

You see so it is not about balls, he can go to the motion in boxing, he knows how to minimize his damage, so he takes the millions and call it a day, it is whats wrong about this sport. I've never watched Garcia fight but apparently he was looking for a way out (predictable).

Not as emotional as carnela when cryan and ruiz left that roided gym

I'm not high on Ryan but at this point he has taken more risk than Canelo has in his recent fights. I've always said I have liked watching Canelo but he needs to fight Benavides, there's no excuses, Benavides is considered second best in the division, he's the mandatory, and reports have stated that Canelo has been offered close to 60 million for that fight. So what's the excuse for Canelo, Money? He makes the most fighting Benavides, legacy? His legacy would grow if he beats Benavides, so there's no excuses, anything else would be a straight up duck IMO.

Look I'll be the first to say mental health is a serious issue and that's all I deal with in working for veterans and being one as well, however what Ryan punk ass went through isn't the same and he's a spoided rich kid acting like a wealthy kid without his sports car or girlfriends any longer. Grow up and get right or get out, that dammm simple!
