That is true, but he did better than I expected regardless, thought GGG would demolish him.

Yeah I thought the same, one thing those fights showed is just how solid his chin is, he ate some great power shots and didn't bat an eyelid.

Two, three years before, yes. Remember that was right after the jacobs fight that he didn't look the destroyer we were accustomed to see. And he was about 36yo, and the ginger was juicing.

Alvarez is more experienced and has been tested more than Beterbiev in his professional career 'Alvarez has also fought better fighters skill for skill than Beterbiev i.e During his Welter Weight career'.

It is clear to me, that Alvarez's inside game 'Technically, is superior to Beterbiev's inside game'.

Beterbiev may punch with more power than Alvarerz on the inside 'But his punch technique, creativity with combinations, punch selection, defense while on the offensive, those area's are not as sophisticated or refined to the level of Alvarez's inside game'.

Note: If Alvarez fought Beterbiev, I think Alvarez would out land Beterbiev 'But? both fighters will be landing upon each other'.

The question will be? Can Alvarez survive Beterbiev's power? Can Alvarez perform in that type of fight over the full 12 rounds, while experiencing that sustained pressure from Beterbiev?

If Alvarez can achieve all of those things, then I honestly believe 'Stylistically, it is a fight he can win'.

It is a brutal fight for Alvarez, but it is stylistically a easier fight for him to prepare for than Bivol.

Bivol as a fighter, fundamentally does not really want to engage with Alvarez in his best area 'Where as Beterbiev fundamentally as a fighter, will engage with Alvarez in his best area which is his inside game'.

If Beterbiev wanted to out box Alvarez 'With those tactics he may be able to compete with Alvarez. But Beterbiev really does not have the level of movement, and speed of combination that Bivol had to out box Alvarez in my opinion'.

Beterbiev has to move forward, he has to pressure Alvarez and destroy him.

In that type of fight, Beterbiev has to walk straight into Alvarez's inside game 'Round after round'.

And if Alvarez can survive Beterbiev's power, and does not disappear once he is hit 'It is a legitimate fight and challenge for Beterbiev. Because he will be getting whacked with power punches'.

Beterbiev would be the favourite for that fight 'But what I am saying is, Alvarez stylistically has a chance of winning vs Beterbiev' etc.

Beterbiev has a complete different engine than Alvarez, does everything with a purpose, no wasted movements. Class above Alvarez in terms of skill. Do you know who dropped Usyk in the ammys ?
