The last time I heard Canelo talk about retirement was probably sometime last year. He said he had 3-4 years left if I'm not mistaken. If that's the case, retirement is not happening until he's around 37. Things could change of course. At this point, however, what else is left for Canelo to prove? He's become a multiple division world champion. He's Undisputed in one division and has faced some big names over the course of his career. The only challenges left are for him to avenge his Bivol defeat and to face upcoming challengers like Benavidez.
