Don't worry about Tzsyu's " heavy feet". He has got "heavy hands" and lethal body shots so he has never had to bounce around or have fancy footwork. He walks straight through other boxers. To date, no other fighter has ever bothered him. Too bad it is not Jermell Charlo getting knocked out instead of Thurman. It is just a matter of how many rounds Thurman can stay on his feet.

Fact that Jermell Charlo didn't come back for this fight tells you something. Charlo sees something in Tsyu. Too bad Thurman is not the guy to softened up Tszyu for him to get encouraged and eventually fight Tim.

I got loads of respect for Shawn Porter. He knows boxing inside out & Shawn said, ages ago, that he thought Thurman was hurting himself staying at 147 & that the pain of weight making was why Thurman had stopped getting knockouts. So, I completely see why he sees Thurman outboxing Tim Tszyu & then walking him into a concussive shot. That isn't how I see it but I agree it is a good, competitive fight. TBH, with Charlo unavailable & Vergil probably not ready yet, this is the best fight available for Tim, I think it is more exciting than Lubin. Who else is there?

Yes Shawn....maybe 6 years ago Thurman had the perfect style to give Tszyu problems.
Not fighting in 2 years and only fighting once in 4 years did not make Thurman the same fighter he was.

Stop creating intrigue. Tzsyu will pressure and walk him down until Thurman is tired and he will punish him in later rounds.
Thurman will be lucky to walk away with a non-stoppage loss.

2 of my favourite boxers, I'm torn on who to support, but it would be better for me if Tim wins as his the future and if Thurman wins he will disappear and not be to active. I won't be shouting for any particular fighter but just sit back and enjoy the fight, let the best man win.

Apparently you forgot that Tszyu was also emailed his title. So

Tim is too big , too strong , and too good for Keith at this point in their careers. I have always been a Thurman fan , but the inactivity can't possibly not be a factor here. It defies logic. Tim is a lot better than people give him credit for here.

Thurman is shot, porter was right that thurman should have went to 154 ages ago... but that time has past. Doing it now at age 35 after having been dog chit for years now, I disagree with Porter that it is going to suddenly rejuvenate Thurman. Hes inactive and old. Even porter himself doesnt know what that is like because he was never as inactive as thurman as he aged.

You'd be hard pressed to find many fighters that have been as inactive as Thurman has while aging. Even by PBC standards, Thurman is inactive. Four fights in Seven years, and no fights in the last 25 months. Pathetic.
