For those that don't follow:
Shawn is saying that Keef would be able to do a better job at the strategy that Terrell Gausha tried (I believe the first to drop Tszyu).
While on paper that's possible, Keef's been WAY too inactive. Plus if he hasn't fixed that flaw of going backwards which is what got him clipped against Manny, it's going to be a LONG night for "Once Upon a Time".

(of those 4 fights, all in a 12 month period; 2 of which have been former world champs, and 2 have been younger than him.) But yeah, Keith is small now, even though he's taller with an equal reach? Not to mention that he's fighting Keith because Lubin didn't want the smoke. We all know most American fighters hate fighting more than once a year now.

What else can this guy do ?
Mind you the fact that him and his team were actively going after Leef is beyond me and can only mean one thing , the name recognition on his ledger

From a stylistic standpoint I can understand Porters analysis. Tims aggression plays right into Thurmans smart boxing and laying traps. On paper it does make sense if this was the KeithThurman who was hungry and fought TOUGH and smart against Porter and Garcia . However in real time we now have the inactive version who is OLDER, injury prone and was last seen a punch or two away from being dropped and possibly stopped by a warm up opponent prior to losing to Pacquiao. NOTHING takes the place of A) Good sparring and B) being active and thus staying sharp. The worst thing an aging fighter can do is be inactive. You just can't get away with that especially at lighter weight classes where reflexes and reaction times play a MASSIVE part in your performance. Tyszu is on the other hand younger, very active and most importantly HUNGRY. He's not like these American fighters who slack off, waste time talking ******ity on Twitter, duck serious challenges, make excuses to prolong making good fights happen when they're supposed to. The kid is still learning but he's a genuine throw back type of fighter who just wants to FIGHT, and fight the best in the process. Someone like that who's HUNGRY is always dangerous. I see Thurman learning the reality of this situation and realizing that a mediocre mentality and inactivity will be what separates him and his brain matter ( once Tyszu gets rolling) from a young hungry lion who wants all the Glory.

With at least 2 fighters badly hurting Thurman to the body and Josesito hurting him to the head and Pac dropping him, and the layoff, it seems highly unlikely that Thurman will win. Not impossible but so many things going against him.

And still won’t go away , as long as they willing to pay for him
