A very good fighter, but painfully basic. I just don't see even a rusty Thurman struggling with a guy like this unless he gets caught to the body early and has to get on his moped.Last edited by JJ75JJ; 02-12-2024, 05:42 AM.

I had to have a small bet on Thurman because of the odds, he is way better than the odds reflect, and I know Tim can be out boxed, my biggest concern for Thurman is can he hurt Tim, that's the real deal breaker, if he can buzz him and get respect he has a real good chance of pulling it out on the cards, if he cant Tim will walk through him in the later rounds.

Tim Tzysu is a decent fighter with a solid foundation of tools, but let's face it. He really hasn't been tested. Perhaps we can blame the 154 lb division. If you look at Tim Tzysu's resume, he's beaten fighters with decent records. But if you look at his opponent's opponents, they have terrible boxing records. Tzysu also has a loss on his resume against an okay fighter, at best. Tim Tzysu talks very boldly after his victories. But let's face it, he beating flawed fighters. Tony Harrison is a joke. And Mendoza and Ocampo are almost journey men. Even though Thurman may have the odds stacked against him, he actually has a resume that suggests that he can be the test that Tzysu could use at this stage in his career. Even though Thurman has been inactive and is older, he probably poses more of a threat than any of Tzysu's opponents this far...and Keith is going up in weight.
I don't think folks should be taking Thurman lightly.

Anyway…I actually think this is going to be a good, competitive fight.
As for the fight, I am very sceptical that Thurman has much left to offer at 35, with years and years of injury problems and one fight in over four years.ShoulderRoll likes this.

Plus I think your full of chit about your new love of Bivol
So is it your hatred of Canelo or is it cause he got beat by him
Annoying ?
Your on a platform where people discuss boxing
If you don’t like it , close yourself in the closet and no one will annoy you
