Boots don't even bring anything on his own table. His resume looks busy, 32 bouts, but full of mediocrity. He won't keep himself busy, just sit around doing nothing.

Plenty of guys to keep himself busy with, Kavaliauskas, Avanesyan, Benn, Cobbs, James, etc. Look at Teo Lopez, he's fighting Ortiz who by NSB's standards is a left over. It's okay. Everyone would have to look for someone to keep himself busy with. Loma himself has fought left overs, Commey, Nakatani, now Kambosos. Almost everyone is fighting left overs. Joshua, Wilder, Parker, name a guy and he's fighting someone with a loss. It's okay. And no one is making any hate threads about it. Just fight, man, fight. Far better than doing nothing.

Crawford would toy with Ennis. Total waste of a fight for Crawford when he only has a couple left.

Teo is not on Boots' level, and we all know that! He ain't even fight at 147 yet! If Bud fights him, he's a Sucka MC!

There have been many hyped fighters who never fought anyone and looked like world beaters. Only to be exposed badly once they face a real challenge. I don't know if Boots fits that bill or not, but he is being protected big time for some reason.

Lopez has held multiple belts, has some fans and is a decent money fight. And the kid can fight, just depends on which version shows up. Lopez has raised his profile. Boots has no fanbase and isn't even that likable. And he looked pedestrian in his last two fights againt B level guys.

As others have said, Boots need to beat these other top WWs, or move to 154 and make a few big fights. He is maybe the worst career guided talented fighter Ive ever seen.

That’s the classic way to avoid fighting Boots. Crawford doesn’t want that smoke.

Just like Crawford the majority of his career.

A lot of fighters simply don’t want to fight and will find any possible reason to put off having to fight for as long as possible. It makes sense in one way: boxing is a brutal sport and you don’t want to fight too many times. But if you’ve willingly made the choice to be a fighter yet don’t fight at all - even when it’s against decent opponents for decent money - where’s the sense in that?

At this point, both Ennis and Crawford need to retire and go away.

His promoter died in January. Hopefully he gets something going soon! As far as TALENT, Teo does not measure up at all! Boots destroyed Villa, so I don't know what more you want him to do? You brought up Boots' last 2 fights, what about Teo vs. Sandor Martin??? A split decision??? I'm not mad at Crawford if he wants Spence rematch, or Canelo, but if he fights Teo, it's a DUCK...PERIOD!

Leftovers? A fighter with a loss, or eve, mulitple losses, isn't necessarily inferior to or less credible than an undefeated fighter who hasn't yet fought any elite competition. That perception, however, is pervasive among newer fans of the sport, and it feeds the reluctance of today's contenders to face each other.

Who is the cash cow at 147 and 154 right now?
