If the Crawford fight is a no-go then surely Boots needs to fight another ranked contender & raise his profile? What news on Stanionis, is he still out with illness?
Ennis has the worst management in boxing ever. He is un unbeaten black American in historically glamour division. He knocked out almost everybody so far.
But still nobody knows who he is.
So I can`t really blame Crawford for not fighting him. Crawford is at the end of the road, he wants money fights.
Apparently he signed with a fly by night promoter and while he was on showtime apparently he never signed with Haymon as an advisor. He really needs to raise his business acumen or hire someone who can because you’re not wrong here
Canelo Alvarez is a much bigger threat than Boots Ennis not too mention a higher reward win or lose no doubt about that but I would prefer ginger to fight Benavidez first and Bud to test waters at 154 before going all the way up to 168 for Canelo. Ww straight to Smw is just crazy even for someone as skilled as Bud.
I remember arguing with hella fools on here about how Crawford would beat Spence. There was only like one or two others that shared the same opinion. All the rest could talk about resumes and "who has Crawford fought to deserve the fight". History repeats itself it seems. Now Crawford is spence and Ennis is Crawford.
I Don't need no fcking resume to see who's quick and strong with it. To see who can fight.
This fight should be good as hell. And most of y'all don't want to see it? Interesting....

Cameron Dunkin was his promoter, and he was in the business a long time.

Longtime boxing manager Cameron Dunkin died Tuesday in Las Vegas following a battle with cancer. He was 67.
Family members of Dunkin confirmed his death on social media.
Dunkin managed many of the world's top boxers during his 30-plus years in the sport. Among them: Terence Crawford, Timothy Bradley, Kelly Pavlik, Nonito Donaire, Diego Corrales, Mikey Garcia and Jessie Vargas.
At the time of his death, Dunkin still guided the career of one champion in Philadelphia's Jaron "Boots" Ennis, the IBF welterweight titleholder.
"RIP to my good friend and mentor Cameron Dunkin," renowned trainer Robert Garcia, the older brother of Mikey Garcia, posted on social media. "The first person in boxing that believed in me as a trainer. ... He saw something in me and believed in my work and even as an inexperienced coach he trusted."
Dunkin was well-regarded for his ability to evaluate boxing talent. He worked with more than 30 champions during his time in the sport.
Funny how Thurman complained, when Mayweather said "he brought nothing to the table!" Then Spence complained when Thurman said, "he brought nothing to the table!" Then Spence said "Crawford is on the wrong side of the street!" Now here's Team Crawford saying Boots "Brings nothing to the table!" I'm good with Crawford seeking a fight with Canelo, but if he fights Teofimo Lopez, instead of Boots...F-K Bud Crawford!
Much more dollars generated for Bud vs Teo than Bud vs Boots… Teo has fought elite competition… way more so than Boots..
