You've just told one side of the story.
We may have had a clean fight had the referee enforced the rules early in the fight. Loma started the dirty tactics with non-stop clinching, then Salido reciprocated by going low. It was just a foul-filled fight that Loma lost.
And he landed almost 70 low blows on Loma (half of his total punches landed) and wasn't pulled once on it by Lawrence Cole.

They'll be mentioned as top fighters ever with that behavior. They're scared, soft, modern-era athlete clowns. That's all there is to it. There's no killer mentality with those children.
I agree with your second paragraph, although Teofimo and Haney both have solid resumes. It's more the business and social media era that ruins everything.

No one is dis*****g that Salido landed a ton of low blows. I was just pointing out that both fighters were allowed to break the rules throughout the fight and, from what I remember, that Loma started the illegal tactics.

By the end of the first minute and a half Salido had already landed 5 low blows that didn't get called. Loma hadn't clinched even once. He was walking Salido down. The first clinch happened at 1:40. Guess who initiated? Salido. Second clinch happened at 2:20, initiated by...Salido. Another low blow from Salido with 20 secs left. End of round. Compubox gave Salido 5 punches landed in the round. Guess where those landed. Zero clinching from Loma. Third clinch of the fight at 1:28 in Rd 2, initiated by, you guessed it, Salido.
Loma's first clinch of the fight didn't happen until the final minute of Rd 2, and was preceded by two shots to the nuts from Salido.
Do I need to go on?
The fouls were almost entirely one sided coming from Salido.
Don't know what fight you remember, but it sure wasn't the one that actually happened...
Just be honest and say that you hate Loma, because you're pushing straight up lies here.Apollo7
