In regards to Haney, it’s a somewhat valid point, the consensus is Loma deserved the nod but in the case of Lopez, he clearly beat Loma. No way in hell you could score that fight to Loma.
Exactly. Saying Lopez “Couldn’t do nothing with Loma” is absolutely ridiculous. Not only was the bout extremely competitive, but Loma was fighting scared early and only later in the fight was he able to let his nuts hang. And he still lost !

And he knocks this IBF belt out and can come to the Shakur table w a bit more negotiating, a bit more money in his bank account, and if he wins, he only needs 2 more belts to become undisputed. This is a smart move by Loma.

I understand that the Haney fight was controversial but the Lopez win was clear.

Loma is good enough to beat them all but for some reason he always allows the fight to be debatably close in his most significant fights and it bites him in the arse.

          Yea, 7-5 is acceptable. I gave Loma round 2 or 3 and 7-11 so that's a draw.

The fact you're saying it 'bites him in the ass' when the culture of this country is such dog **** that those clowns ran from a rematch with their tales tucked. Lopez got his ass kicked in that fight and considered suicide twice after the fight. Haney got beat hands down by Loma.

The culture of these young athletes and the way society is going is turned to such trash, they're complaining about their 'mental health'.. it's absolutely pussified. This is where I show you how old fighters acted, and how these soft fighters act, and how internet forum ****** kids will defend modern behavior.

Haney it's a lot more debatable but either way no one can cry on robbery, close fights aren't robberies like people like to say, it's not to say I don't think Loma won, I do.

I am a die hard Loma fan, Lopez either won or got a draw, I still think he won but I also KNOW it was a fluke against a 1 armed Loma hence there was never a rematch.

DO NOT talk to me about a contract, the best deals I have made have been with a handshake between men. Teo had to rematch Loma to shut up the controversy.

I personally didn't like how Top Rank moved with that Haney vs. Loma fight! Haney was beging for an earlier date, because he knew he had outgrew the division! They made him wait, and tried to drain him, but it failed! BTW, Haney's first fight @ 140, he rehydrated to 165!

Lopez fans give every round where not much happened to Lopez, obviously.

It was close but I thought a draw was the correct call as Lopez didn't do much and Loma started slow but did alot more than Lopez in the latter half.

Loma is his own worst enemy taking off so many rounds. He has/had the talent to an all timer.

Loma is a pretty great fighter.

Teofimo and Devin also have at least a bit of greatness, when in their best form.

We know Loma's people and his fans either believe he won every fight he lost or make excuses as to why he lost. You can't take seriously anyone who believes he beat Salido or Teofimo. The Haney fight is different.

Teofimo didn't have to give him a rematch either, just like Loma didn't give Ortiz a rematch.
