Comments Thread For: Tim Tszyu Accepting That He May Never Fight Jermell Charlo: "He's A Bit Of A Coward"

Due to history being littered with guys who dropped down in weight and lost their punch resistance at the same time, I don't see Charlo fighting at 154 again. If he plans to return to the ring, that needs to come from a burning desire and maybe 160 would be a middle ground for him. Wealth changes a lot of things. Not always though....Hagler once referred to Leonard questioning his desire now that he slept in Silk Pajamas - then he learned as everyone did, that Leonard still had the burning desire.....a little too long though, which is also a reference to his dropping weight for his last fight as he did as well, tying back in to the tangent.Last edited by richardt; 01-30-2024, 02:23 PM.

You can't change perception. It is what it is no matter what justification you come up with. He prolonged his injury excuse and it suddenly disappeared when the Canelo offer came. But then he also promised to come back down to 154 and fight Tzsyu.

There's more than one version of a coward, he's not scared of getting beat up he's scared of losing. Charlo is overrated, it took him two attempts to beat Harrison and Castano. Since becoming undisputed he's done absolutely nothing, he should be ashamed of himself.
