Gotta be in with marquee names to be a promoters dream. The only time Benn is linked with big names is in Eddie's IFL interviews.rudy

most bizarre situation with him, if he can actually get this appeal over and done with, get back boxing in the uk and get a few good KO wins under his belt he will still make millions with eddies 'massive foits'
he should have just pleaded contamination and said it was 2 honest mistakes, blame whoever & taken his 6 month or whatever ban, he would have millions in the back as a result, i thinkBob likes this.

He hasn't fought big names yet, but he's looked like a top contender demolishing his better opposition as he moves up. He's a very big and strong WW. Devin Haney is the only fighter from that list who would be a solid favorite over Benn right now. Benn completely destroys Kell Brook, Eubank, Josh Kelly and Josh Taylor given their current form, and I would pick him to be a very live underdog against Abdul Wahid (who would never ever take that fight) because he's so much bigger.
what credible opposition did Benn beat as he moved up and was clean? Formella was fringe European level at best, Samuel Vargas was a bum, he couldn't KO Granados, was clearly on PEDs for the Algieri and Van Heerden fights and then couldn't put a dent in that Mexican binman Orozco. For someone who constantly reminds us how he'll obliterate this and that opponent its a underwhelming record.Bob likes this.
