And it really blows a hole through the whole point of weight classes. Some fighters like Haney have an amazing ability to cut weight and then re-hydrate healthily. A large part of their competitive advantage lies in the unfair advantage they have on fight night because they can cut weight far more effectively than their opponents.

The best thing would be for all fights to have a re-hydration weigh-in the afternoon of the fight at say +10% of weight class limit - then you have a more even playing field and a safer fight too.
    Thank you sir
Wtv very is. , something has to be done
    Imagine Haney next to Tank

man hopkins took too many punches to the head to think Tank beat the better opposition than Haney? I mean come on Loma was on the P4P list and none of the fighters tank beat were there at all. Prograis was also supposed to be the guy to beat at 140 give or take 1 or 2 names so he was top 3 in the division and mostly though of as the number 1 guy depending on who you talked to.

So sorry B-Hop Hector Luis Garcia and Ryan Garcia do not equal Loma and Prograis lol

i think bhop must be a bit crazy

on the one hand hes giving out about fans being put off the sport

and then on the other hand he praises a guy who has refused for years to fight top guys in his divisions

its actually the two of these clowns that would put fans off the sport more likely

Tank defeated a dehydrated Ryan Garcia while Haney defeated JoJo Diaz, Vasiliy Lomachenko, Regis Prograis, George Kambosos and Jorge Linares. So what in the hell is B-Hops talking about here man?

Absolutely. Bernard supposedly leads a clean life, but these statements makes you wonder if he's started in on the sauce.

Tank hasn't beat anybody his best win is Pedraza or Cryan and that's saying a lot.

It's not like Haney is miles better getting an debatable win against Loma but he is a lock for the HoF... unlike Tanks best wins.

                    Tank has better opposition.
He opposed to fight Loma, Teo, Shakur, and Haney.

I always thought Hopkins to be very knowledgeable and honest about his point of view. I honestly cannot see anyway how he could believe what he's saying about tank fighting better opposition. It's patently ridiculous.

I mean just look at the condition that Ryan was in and Santa Cruz was such a smaller fighter, even if he did have a big punch... It makes no sense
