Based on that I can not say that Parker is ready for anybody. He is willing to face anybody and that is different and I respect him for that. In reality he is missing power and guys Like Joshua, Fury, ZZ, Hrgovic, Sanchez can KO him.
Its the big boy division so anyone on any given night can KO anyone.

Parker lost to Whyte on a headbutt ruled as a knockdown for which Parker then had to fight through a concussion from and even then had Whyte on ***** st in the 12th only to be saved by the bell and the ref.

In a rematch of which Whyte has ducked ever since he would get annihilated by thee 2024 Oilskin version.

As a boxer. Parker is as good as and better than most.

I feel the fight would have been far more competitive with a decent ref, he really spoiled the fight. Wouldn't be at all surprised if he earned himself a fat, shady bonus that night.
Ok. But he did not earn himself bonus that night because he was not ready to risk it. That is a fact. Maybee today he is different, maybee today he would risk it.

Easy to say now but 6 years ago that version of Bombsquad Wilder was legit.

The Wilder Parker faced was not Prime Windmill of 6 years ago, just like the Parker AJ faced 6 years ago is not Prime Oilskin now.

Prime Wider would have taken AJ's soul just like Fat Andy took Prime A-Sides and he probsbly would have taken Parker's strap then too with a legit KO rather than the dubious disputed nature of AJ's win over Joseph to relieve him of his belt.

5 years ago AJ was at the peak of his powers and looking to conquer America. All he had to do was beat the brakes of a stumpy Mexican who took the fight on short notice.

Instead he got his ass handed back to him in shreds and his soul taken. AJ is still that shredded ass guy with no soul seeking redemption in a crossover exhibition match vs an MMA fighter he has a good chance of losing to.

Meanwhile A-Side Joshy's pimp Eddie is begging for the crumbs of Fury's table and licking Turki ass hoping to appeals to Furys greedy belly for a cash out fight for his prize poodle.

The true fighting men earning their shots are battling it out in glorious warrior fashion towards an undisputed legacy. Long live the fighters.

Entitled dancing lap dogs pimped to the highest bidder, meh not so much.

So many variables to consider but I think the key for Parker in this second run for a title is activity. 4 fights in 2023. Yes a couple tuneups & then the Kean fight but those 3 training camps & 14 rounds in the ring prior to the Wilder fight were key in his victory. He’s in great shape not like in the Joyce fight where he could have been in better condition. He is already set to fight Zhang in March. For me this is 50/50. Zhang is 40 & a big guy. He often comes in looking soft but he has power in both hands & fights out of the southpaw stance. Parker has gone 12 rounds many times & has been in peak physical recently. He looks motivated again. I will wait to pick a winner

I like Parker, but let's be honest: Wilder refused to engage. Emperor Zhang will annex the Parker Dynasty in less than eight.

I don't think its that Wilder refused. Its that he couldn't because he wasn't given the opportunity. Parker negated his strengths and never gave him an opening to drop the bomb.

Zhang is gonna be just as difficult to negate. I trust Lee and Parker will come up with something to just that. It won't be an imitation of trying to out juggernaut the juggernaut again.

Cack handers require a whole different strategy. That does mean Zhangs gonna be there all night for that same lightning fast ducking lunge with the overhand right that gave Wilder problems.

Time it right and put him in 2 minds about when to throw and when he does counter and trade shots to see if you can get lucky.

Get a few rib ticklers in there, soften up the solar plexus, get Zhang to drop his guard to protect his belly, wobble him with a big shot and windmill the fück out of him.

Run around for a few rounds make him chase the rabbit. Tire him out. Take him to the championship rounds and empty the tank unloading bombs.

              How hard can it be?...lol

Look at Zhang's record. He failed to annex a top-80 guy. Parker is proven and has had hard fight after hard fight. Everyone thinks Zhang is amazing because he beat up a heavy bag in Joyce and lost well to Hrgovic but he had done nothing else and is almost 40. Parker just needs to outbox him and tire him out. Boxing isn't all about power.

Parker has a better resume to gain experience than Zhang has. So there is hope for parker.

Great HW matchup, both coming into the match off big wins. Difficult to pick, but I'm leaning towards Parker. Parker has a solid chin, so I see this going into the later rounds where Zhang will be running on fumes.

i know styles make fights but i find it hard to believe parker can lose to joyce and then beat a guy who absolutely annihilated joyce twice
