Scott was saying the other day that he'd be on the Joshua card fighting Zhang or Parker (rematch).

If he fights someone else then, yes, it's a duck. If he retires as I think he might then good luck to him. He's made a big pile of money and prestige from very limited ability. It's hard to criticise too much.

      That's my feeling

I don't think he was ever really gonna fight 3 months after coming off a loss when he was talking about needing to rediscover the fighter in himself. I think he's contemplating retirement.

he's been champ, made a fortune, got a young family, heading towards 40 and clearly finished at a high level. It's time to retire.

but will he? I don't think he was ever gonna fight again so soon. But he's still a big name, so in 6 months time and Saudi come calling again because of his profile, the Saudi money will probably tempt him again.

I'd imagine in the next few years we are going see a few fighters that should be retiring and still accepting Saudi money to be stepping stones because they're huge names with not much left in the tank....

Whatever he does, for someone that walked into a boxing gym late to get money for his daughters medical condition to becoming an Olympic bronze medalist, WBC champ and now made a pile of money, fair play I say, he absolutely smashed it.

Wilder s not got a career plan, he will take things as they come. He's just been paid, so probably not thinking about next job. And he's confident in knowledge 8 months down the line, people will still want to see him again. So he's still got one payday out there still

That’s like saying Whyte ducked Wallin to go fight Fury etc……Wilder or Malik probably want an easier opponent and they better take them for now and hope Joshua will once again be a charity case and offer him a fight down the line .
Bold is EXACTLY what NSB said at the time though!

Josh Taylor was looking forward to his first fight in his home country in more than two years. That moment will now have to wait at least two more months. A knee injury suffered during training camp has forced the undisputed junior welterweight champion to postpone his mandatory title defense versus Jack Catterall, promoter

Bottom line - it's a duck if there's a title match, mandatory or other officially recognized call for the fight and you refuse it for whatever reason. That's a clear list.

Wilder is actually in Canelo alike position. he has all money in the world and he actually doesn`t have to do anything.

I will fight and get KO'd by all of them in a time spree of 2 months for a few millions, LOL. (it has to be more than 15 thou, otherwise I would not care, lol)
