  • Comments Thread For: Hearn: Ngannou Has Power, Very Strong; I Don't Think It's Not Dangerous For Joshua

By Keith Idec - When Eddie Hearn recently declared Anthony Joshua several levels above Francis Ngannou, the big British superstar's promoter didn't intend to dismiss the literal puncher's chance Ngannou has to upset Joshua. Hearn unequivocally believes Joshua will win their 10-round fight in whichever way the former IBF/IBO/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion sees fit March 8 at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It's 100% a dangerous fight, Ngannou has a lot of S Tier natural talent, he's more talented than 99% of professional heavyweights and before you scoff, oh yes he is.

You really think Title Holders like Charles Martin, Bermane Stiverne or recent challengers like Gerald Washington or Dillian Whyte are more talented than Ngannou? Really?

Add to that Joshua hasn't really proven he's "back", and you have a competetive match here.

Joshuas vast experience gap and own talent level ought to be enough for him to navigate this but I wouldn't suggest you bet your life savings on it put it that way.

Aj easily. Unlike Fury, AJ will take him seriously.

After Usyk hes probably the most dangerous opponent AJ has faced in the 2020s so far. Not singling AJ out either, same applies to Fury and most other top HWs. Pretty sad to think that a 0-1 nearly 40 year old crossover fighter from another sport is in practice a tougher opponent than most of the guys top HWs are fighting even at an advanced stage in their careers. Not only that but this guy is fighting Fury and AJ back to back too when those two still havent fought each other.

Ngannou is a once in a lifetime athlete, he's the Mike Tyson of MMA.

Additionally Ngannou in MMA was basically a boxer, his hands did all the work and his hands ALONE were enough to take him to their world title in dominant fashion.

Ngannou is more talented than 99% of heavyweight boxers.

Ngannou is probably the hardest puncher in boxing, probably has the best chin, is DEFINATLEY the strongest man in boxing, what else do you want ffs?

Cyril Gane was the better boxer I actually thought Gane won their fight .

Ngannou definitely has the best chin when Joshua stops him I know they’ll be a list of excuses anyway so it won’t matter .

Under Mike Tyson who actually gave him the blue print to advance so rapidly he’s vastly improved and probably would knockout Gane now with extensive focus just on boxing itself not any other form of fighting . Is Ngannou the hardest puncher ? Well if he hits Joshua and nothing happens I expect he’ll go from hardest puncher to a fraud only bc it’s involved with A.J .This means you’d have to say Joshua has the best chin and we know that won’t be the narratives on here ever ,you’ll see all the talk of hardest puncher go out th3 window real fast . Lol

Ngannou has more blunt force though he doesn’t have the fluidity or snap to clean put out a good boxers lights out he’s more like Foreman with thudding power . Ngannou does have a damaging uppercut I’d say that’s the only thing he has in common with Joshua other then that I think Joshua will make it look easy with a few scares of exchanges, Joshua just happens to have the exact things to make him look bad u like someone else …………

Ngannau can destroy everybody with his power, of course AJ is a former boxe champ and has many chance to win, but he must be very careful not to leave his face exposed. The MMA star has a great coach, Mike Tyson, and this gives him great confidence. My opinion is AJ is going to win, but watch out.

AJ's probably gonna win by TKO, in an easy fight. I'd love to see Nganneau land AJ face first on the floor though.
