I think he can fight. In close he's actually exceptional due to having incredible strength and faster hands than I thought he would. That's a bit more than a puncher's chance - he's viable.

Joshua needs to be smart, but we can't just assume that Joshua gets to dictate where the fight is fought; Francis will have a say in that too.

Yeah, I see what you're saying. If Joshua's strategy isn't sound, he might run afoul of Ngannou's inside game. Just looking at his stats, Ngannou has a bizarrely long reach, if they're to be believed -- longer than Joshua. I still think Joshua's power and technique should be enough to neutralise him.
