Great stuff happening at heavyweight these days!!!!

Wilder looked either all through, very rusty or no longer has the fire. maybe a combination.
Parker did very little and Wilder did even less. Thinking that Wilder should retire or get a couple easy wins like Joshua and Parker have done. It's his time to be Down, but I suspect he's got another run in him, if he wants one.
I think he could have another run but he needs to get rid of Scott as his trainer & go back to seek & destroy fighting. 2 rebuild fights against Joshua leftovers in Franklin & Wallin. Win both those fights by mid summer. If all goes well plan for another big fighter in the fall. If the fire ain’t there retire…

It seems most heavyweights avoid Zhang, but he can deliver a tough fight to anyone, so I find this one good.

I do like Parker but Zhang probably kicks his ass. The Chinaman punches back.

I prefer Parker but ZZ could KO him. But if Parker wins then he is really ready for World title.

Nice matchup, but what's with that "interim" and "regular" titles crap again? Didn't they say that they are discontinuing that nonsense, and then they start it all over again?

Thought he could have been in better shape for that fight to be honest. I wonder if Wilder will be on the card?
I think his work with Andy Lee and, to a lesser extent, Tyson Fury has really been a benefit to him. Back when he fought Joshua, he didn't have the confidence that he does now. And, of course, confidence that comes from knowing you're better trained, in better shape, etc (real confidence, not manufactured bravado) is huge. I thought he had a good chance against Wilder and he certainly has one against Zhang. I like both guys, so I'll be happy with whoever wins. Most importantly, boxing fans win with the match-up.

As for Wilder, I don't know if he'll be on the card, but he needs to be if he's going to be relevant again. Or, at least fight somebody somewhere in a boxing ring around the same time-frame.

No idea who wins this, but it's a great matchup.

Not a bad fight at all I must say , ZZ slight favorite indeed but its actually a fifty-fifty. Lets not forget Parker was heavy underdog against Wilder.

They didn't necessarily start it all over. Charr won a lawsuit to keep his. And the heavyweight division is absolutely an appropriate place to have interim titles. They're necessary when the titlists are holding up the division, especially when you've got a notoriously inactive one and rematch clauses to boot. Interim belts mean the guys who fight for the shot don't just have to wait years at the whim of someone like Tyson Fury.

Zhang all day. He's really talented and I'll be honest he smokes wilder also.
