Most of those in the list don't have any inclination to come back in the ring. They're hibernating. They'll be begging for fights when they're nearing 40 and they'll be given fights less than 10% of what they've been getting. You'll see them with reduced training staff and unfamiliar faces. It will be pitiful to see.

For sure they'll be begging for fights not even in their 40s. Errol Spence says it starts at only 37:

Errol Spence: "Some of y’all forget what this **** really for until you’re 37 years old trying to make a comeback for 10% of what you used to make."

Well the racy convict has spoken. The police might TKO Anderson and Charlo. There are not any matches for 160-201 +lbs for the USA media to hype. Think about that.

The web will show these matches. But the real story behind the story is promoters / power brokers in the USA are becoming scarce. Don't look now but USA magazines and TV that is covering boxing is going out of business. And with them come the writers. They cover a dying breed. RIP USA upper weight boxing from middle to heavy.

That's a great point. The US has Caleb Plant but he's lost at elite level. He hasn't fought for nearly a year, should I add him to the list?

Maybe. The fact that Jake Paul is a boxing media star and probably is more well known at his weight that any other American underscores the problem.

              American boxing decline is tragic.

Their best heavyweight of the last 30 years was Wilder just let that sink in.

Jared Anderson has potential but he's already admitted he's looking for money and the door not legacy.

One thing America has been good for is guys who talk a massive game then get lit up, Wilder was a good one, also Jarrell Miller "I smell pu55y", yeah I smelt it when you were giving the ref the pleading eyes to stop you vs Daniel DuQuit. Another bonus one was Trevor Bryan who was great for a bit of chat before getting smoked. And who can forget Prince Charles Martin lol.

They will talk about their midget fighters like Tank and Teofimo but these guys are not exactly setting pulses racing.

I'm not saying UK boxing is doing fantastic either btw but US boxing decline has been insane, and now that the Saudis run the financial side of things they won't be able to get away with getting big names over there and robbing them like they did with Golovkin, Lomachenko and Kovalev etc.

It's looking bleak for US boxing.

Oh yeah, Americans love a talker. We're talking about a culture which made the Kardashians famous: a family of vacuous sociopaths whose only tangible talents appear to be a willingness to fill themselves with collagen and a total absence of shame.

With that in mind, it's not surprising some big mouth boxer claiming to be the new Ali will find an audience.

Bumped following Tim Tszyu's recent comments. He should have specified that American fighters are the problem in the modern era. The fact an unproven cretin like Ryan Garcia can get so much air time, including on this website, tells its own story.
