Smith's head movement was actually good until he tired. His footwork and control of distance is weak though, whereas Bivol is a master with his footwork and controlling the distance. With his skills and endurance, it's possible that Bivol could stay on his bike the whole night, scoring from range to win the decision. I suspect Beterbiev will find that long torso though and slow him down (should the fight happen, of course).

Why waste time, we already know this was the stepping stone to Bivol. I don't think anyone was saying this is a mega fight. It was an interesting fight considering Smith's chin, but other than that I think most of us knew this was a formality for ABB.

Then why would ''fight'' fans mention Nelo fighting him ?
If I had a dollar (USD) for the number of ''Nelo fought Callum '' remarks, I'd literally would have $50
Nelo fought him first and at Callum's best weight

In order to give these boogeymen proper props, they would have to move up/down as Nelo has done.
Other than that, they are basically doing a GGG -

You can count on Beterbiev vs Bivol 100%/ now. I never heard Beterbiev say Allahu Akbar at the end of a fight before, and Arum was salivating during the interview. Those Saudis will pay primo dollars for the chance to crown a ****** unified champion.

Beterbiev landed a decent amount of rabbit punches which isn't nice. But in any way, Smith chose to hang on the ropes straight from the first round and was seriously outboxed in every round.
