    That could be an all time war if the old Bek shows up in the ring somebody would get launched at some point.

      Why waste time, we already know this was the stepping stone to Bivol. I don't think anyone was saying this is a mega fight. It was an interesting fight considering Smith's chin, but other than that I think most of us knew this was a formality for ABB.

          Bivol ring IQ is vastly superior will keep range and just pot Beterbiev face all night wont hurt him or anything tho.

          Benavidez vs Beterbiev now there is a fight i would eagerly anticipate.
          We will see. I think it will be more competitive that this one. Beterbiev is strong and could make some damadge on Bivol.
          In any case, it is better that they fight than not to fight.

          • My humble take;
            - Smith's punches did NOTHING
            - Beterbiev's fast start was AWESOME. It was a clear message to a guy who was very confident.
            - Kudos to Smith. He walked the walk that he talked.
            - Bivol is going to find out what it is like to hit a 175 pound sack of hard leather and have it do nothing
            - Beterbiev's chance to win is what he always does or to up his work rate by 50%. He is wicked accurate, but he also allows his opponent to land on him. He will be going against the best boxer of his career and we can all expect Bivol to score significantly.
            - I will be putting $1000 on Beterbiev in the 11th round against Bivol.

                Yer absolutely its the best fight to make at 175 regardless if it turns out a stinker.

                2024 could be massive if we get the best fight at 175 and 168

                  The thing is, Beterbiev has really good skills in addition to his power.

                  • No much to say, Beterbiev is a real champ, Mundo tried to do something in the first rounds but was very hard to stop him. Can't wait to see the best lighthheawyweight fight ever seen in the least 20 years, Beterbiev vs Bivol, it will be a real war.

                      Beterbiev crushes guys that use a guard defensively. His accuracy is simply too good. Bivol has a great advantage compared to other guys in that he can move his head and body in addition to a guard. It will be more of a challenge for Beterbiev to find him.
