You should watch some old Provodnikov fights. Dude took haymakers like they were light jabs. Walked through massive shots with no effect. Wasn't a great fighter, but insane punch resistance. He is a Russian fighter as well. Many frok that area have thicker bone structure and much better punch resistance. Biev has a great chin, along with sick power, and he is a really good boxer, much better than he gets credit for.

Smith is only a monster against low opposition and bums. Fighting the best he crumbles like cheese.

And? That's how boxing works. You try and prove you are the best and most will come up short. Smith was beaten by a better fighter, but there is no shame in how he fought. On the contrary, he was brave, durable and went out swinging. Kudos to him for getting in a ring with a seriously fearsome champion and giving us, the viewers, a good fight.
