    If or When they fight.
    I got Canelo over Benavidez.

From what I've seen of Morrel.
I'd pick him over Benavidez too.

Morrell is not a blown up SMW, he didn't begin fighting at 147-154 like several of Benavidez opponents have. Morrell is a big solid 168 pounder. To this day, Benavidez has yet to say Morrells name.

Morrell's manager, WBA agent Luis Decubas, is desperate. His main guy, Lara, has already missed 2 yearly pensions, $1 mil each. Believe it or not Erislandy Lara has been getting $1 mil per fight regardless of who he fights. It all started when Lara fought Canelo. Decubas obviously has his cunning way of talking to Haymon.

He's doing the same here. Have Morrell take Benavidez, win or lose, he can then feed a long list of cab drivers to Morrell, $1 mil each henceforth. His huge percentage cut is secured.

What does Lara and his salary has to do with Morell jr fighting benavidez? Do you think he's throwing DMJ to the lions to cash out?

No. Benavidez is biggest fight in the sport to make for Canelo and its a fight between the clear top 2 guys in the division and he is his mandatory, and Benavidez is a proven high level fighter. None of which applies to Morrell.

I get what you're saying but . . . why isn't a Benavidez fight available to Morrell? Could be wrong but I don't think Benavidez is getting Canelo in May, so why not fight Morrell?

I want to see Morrell vs Benavidez. But...
everyone does the same thing bro. Wait around for money fights. Ennis won't even take stay busy fights, for example. Wilder didn't fight for more than a year because he's waiting for the Joshua money fight. And then he's required to fight Parker. He lost. The Joshua money fight is gone gone gone. Why can't Benavidez do the same, wait around for money fights?

You're wrong, although I do agree canelo vs benavidez takes precedent over Morell jr, the Cuban is a concensus #3 in the division and has been the mandatory and regular champion for over two years on the WBA side, so yes some of benavidez rights applies to Morell jr too. If canelo keeps avoiding benavidez, he should vacate and join the exhibition circuit, and left Morell jr and benavidez fight for the belts, after all one is the WBA regular/mandatory and the other the WBC counterpart.

Earn your shot, you haven’t done so. Some hoe ass sh.it coming out of Team Morrell
What do you call following the requirements to earn a mandatory shot at the WBA belt, and the longest outstanding such mandatory shot at 168 at 3 years, to boot? That's not "earning" it? Beating everyone the sanctioning body puts in front of you isn't "earning it"?

Mandatory positions are literally the way you "earn" a title shot.

The fact that WBA refuses to order the fight after 3 years just goes to show how much of a joke they are.

Yes I get that, trust me. It’s just that once you reach that highest level of the sport, where there’s millions of dollars involved the belts don’t weight as much as they would for an up and comer. Would you fight the same person for a belt and 100 dollars or no belt and 100 million dollars? Easy choice right
