What's Canelo's reward for fighting Benavidez? He can make good money against other opponents plus he's already rich. He has already become undisputed at 168. It might add a little bit to his legacy but not much right now because David's best win is a decision over Plant. Benavidez could achieve more in the future and be a great addition to Canelo's resume or he could lose a few fights and be seen as an over rated hype job. Seems like a lot of risk for very little reward for someone in Canelo's position.

I read this on another site
Agbeko’s words were that Morrell and himself were supposed to fight in Vegas , long story short , Morrell backed away from the fight which supposedly was practically made and gave really no response for his actions
His team then reached out again and made the fight but this time in Minneapolis where they don’t force testing
Agbeko was told they’re would be testing etc etc but according to him not once was he tested or approached by testing police lol
Right after his loss he came out publicly stating that Morrell must be juicing or whatnot and that he was never approached
Imo , it sounded like Agbeko was pissed only cause he juices himself and that he was the only one who took precautions not to be juiced for the fight
Again , this is what my feeling was when reading the article

Those are rumors spread by the haters. Have you read anything on the web, podcast or from an opponent?

everyone does the same thing bro. Wait around for money fights. Ennis won't even take stay busy fights, for example. Wilder didn't fight for more than a year because he's waiting for the Joshua money fight. And then he's required to fight Parker. He lost. The Joshua money fight is gone gone gone. Why can't Benavidez do the same, wait around for money fights?
Yeah, get it, and he can. In fact it looks like he will but just because everyone/most seem to do it doesn't make it a good look - especially for a guy who calls himself "the monster"! Thanks.
