I think Donaire shocked a lot of people too though, when he moved down to 118 a lot of us figured it was a ****** move, but that Burnett win was fantastic (UK fans say Burnett hurt his back, but if you watch the fight, it was a body shot the round before that caused it) It was like Donaire realized he could cut down to 118 again and keep his size.

to me it just shows how trash 118 and these smaller weights are because donaire was getting soundly outboxed earlier in his career by people like frampton and magdeleno both of whom were shorter than him and not exactly big hitters... if a fighter goes to an easier weight class they look better theres not much to it than that he didnt just suddenly find a second wind from somewhere

And although he's unknown on this side of the globe, Omar Narvaez should (and will) be inducted into the Boxing HOF. Inoue skipped a weight class to fight Narvaez without a tuneup and stopped him in 2 rounds, ending his 9 consecutive title defenses.

People disrespect these smaller fighters so much and then wonder why the Napoleon complex exists lol. I wouldn't consider Fulton & Tapales better than Spence as individuals, but Inoue cleared them both in a year, and neither of them got rag dolled by a car at 100mph or tore their retina. They showed up in tip top shape and got demolished.

Everyone knows I'm a huge Crawford fan, but I don't have an issue with anyone having Inoue in the top spot. After all, P4P is nothing but OPINION, and we all have our own. One could certanly make the argument that if the weights were equal, that Inoue could give Bud all he wanted, and perhaps even win the fight. Isnt that what P4P ratings are all about?

What I AM confused about though is people calling Bud a "3 division lineal champ". What am I missing here? Did beating friggin Ricky Burns at 135 make Bud lineal at 135? Call me crazy but I never considered Bud lineal at 135, because I never considered Burns as lineal. Bud certainly is a 3 division champ, but calling him a 3 division lineal is a bit of a stretch......

Crawford became lineal at lightweight from the Raymundo Beltran fight. At the time of the fight the lineal lightweight title was vacant and the two were ranked #1 and #2 by The Ring, TBRB, and almost every other source. Beltran was coming off some good wins and what everyone considered a bogus draw (everyone had Beltran winning) against none other than Ricky Burns at the time. Beltran took Crawford the distance in a loss and then won his next 6 fights including a WBO world title he later lost to Jose Pedraza. And considering Beltran popped for PEDs in his next fight after the Crawford loss, Crawford probably beat a cheating version of Beltran.
