We can't just ignore this guys age forever.

He is 3 years older than Wilder who we just saw grow old overnight.

He's around the age Luis Ortiz was when he was right at the end of his career.

Older than Wlad when he retired after fighting AJ

4 years older than Usyk who we all agree has 2 or 3 fights left in him tops

You can count on one hand how many fights Zhang has left in him before age becomes his biggest enemy, so how far do you all think he will go at this stage.

He has good timing and shapr punches, moves well and looks surprisingly good for his weight, but considering his age and not very good gas tank - a year maybe. And maybe that is what others in the division rely on, as he seems to be avoided.

Can't ignore his age. It's very likely he's not what people think he is.

Mind you, I don't think Wilder got old overnight. I think he was always one dimensional and he just needed a decent fighter to prove that he isn't top level.

I'm surprised you're taking an absolute position on Wilder's performance, you're usually more reasoned than that. He's for sure always been one dimensional, but he's shown a willingness to be brave and take punches to land his own in the past. That just wasn't there on Saturday, it looked like he decided he didn't want to be a boxer anymore and was happy to coast to a decision loss.

That might have been the worst Wilder. We couldn't really know - he didn't fight enough decent fighters for us to know what his prime was in terms of level.

Personally I think he deserves for his career to be questioned heavily. If he'd fought and beat decent fighters in his prime then it would be fair to say age has diminished him, but he didn't.

I struggle to watch that fight and think he could ever beat a properly decent heavyweight like Parker. The gap wasn't small, it was an absolute chasm.

He has as long as he can go without fighting someone with hand and foot speed.

That being said is h.w the only division you can fight in your late 30s, 40s and be champ/top 10?
I mean from big George, Wladimir, ortiz, windmill and zhang

I can only think of Marquez, Hopkins and pac. Froid as well but mostly got helped from the steroids
