Who should Morrell fight if not Benavidez or Canelo right now?

Obviously Benavidez is hoping for that golden ticket to cinnamon payday land so he is understandably not looking for other fights right now and maybe he'll be in negotiations for that but in the meantime Morrell who is garnering alot of attention and appears to have talent should fight who exactly to make a good case for himself to be the next to go on the golden ticket payday tour?

I looked through the rankings at 168 and I gotta tell ya, its not too good

I would say Plant but he seems focused on beating up mentally unstable inactive Charlo because...the hood needs a hero.

Morrell definitely needs to up the quality of his opp. Benavidez was in a similar position a while back & has enhanced his resume to the point where he's the indisputable #1 guy who deserves to be fighting Mr Alvarez. Morrell needs to enhance his resume more so he's the #1 indisputable guy who deserves to fight the winner of Alvarez vs Benavidez in late 2024 or early 2025.
