That’s the same number of wins Haney has this year. And one of Haney’s wins was very close, not dominant at all.
NSB said both were overhyped bums.

You said Benavidez hasn’t been active enough, but he has the same number of wins in 2023 as Devin Haney.

Plant was ko'd by Canelo and Boohoo was stepping up. Prograis lost a close decision, closer than Catteral, to Josh in the Hydro. Back when Josh was still able to make 140. I think Rougas credentials are better. Haney has my vote.

            It was Bud’s fault
            It’s always Crawford’s fault

In a way, it's Inoue unless Crawford votes get in the way

You think beating Tapales is going to put him over the top?

Haney had a controversial win over Lomachenko and many thought he lost. So no you're not fighter of the year.

I agree. Haney has paid his dues. He's done his time and has paid the price for glory and greatness. He traveled to another man's country in order to win his titles on foreign soil for short money while defending them at the same time.

subsequently, he defeated both Loma and Prograis all in the same calendar year. I am not saying that he should be fighter of the year. However, he should at least be in the conversation for best fighter of the year 2023.
