      Naoya Inoue

He won fair and square against Prograis, he also lost fair and square against Loma.

“At The End of The Day”, Devin Haney did everything I said he did.

Inoue I can’t, because he’s not moving up.

Crawford? For ONE win, then getting stripped for ducking a mandatory? Not defending any of the titles he won?

          Benavidez hasn’t been active enough.

You guys’ criteria is jacked up.

It’s not “Fight” of the Year, it’s FightER of the Year. Meaning ACCOMPLISHMENTS.

Nobody comes close to what Devin has done.

Inoue did move up though. His first two fights at 122 are two unified champions. For Haney, if you believe he won the Loma fight, I would put him in the conversation. I had him losing to Loma, but it was close enough for me not to call it a robbery. I wouldn't vote him fighter of the year, though he was very impressive at 140.

Batting zero this weekend. Ramirez didn't box and Prograis was plodding. Maybe better next week.

He's clearly pretty high up on the list of candidates. If Bud wasn't averaging 1 fight a year he'd be my pick, especially considering what he did to a fellow p4p fighter. Inoue is going to mop the floor with Tapales. I think The Monster takes it.

Imagine winning the fight and this is the best highlight anyone can find of you compared to the shots your opponent landed.

How is Benavidez even in the conversation? By beating Plant, who all the Benavidez fans called a bum before Benavidez fought him, and Doo Doo Andrade, who was a 35 year old prospect that was undersized at 168 and straight up QUIT in the fight.

Haney makes a way better claim than anyone right now for FOTY.

Benavidez got two big wins this year in dominant fashion. Plant and Andrade.

That’s the same number of wins Haney has this year. And one of Haney’s wins was very close, not dominant at all.
