The feet will be the story of the fight & even when Regis gets to his preferred range as there will be times I don't really see him having any real sustained success.
He doesn't have the footspeed or utilise angles like Diaz and Loma or have the handspeed and punch variety. In short he is absolutely no way near as skilled.
They had success in different ways but ultimately because they was unpredictable and would throw combinations, doubling, tripling up. They'd miss 2-3 shots but get in with the fourth. Regis is just basic. Needs you to stand in front of him and just throws right, left, right left, no changing the trajectory or mixing it up.

I never predict a Haney stoppage win he is a decision fighter, Haney points safest bet in boxing.
But for this one I think the move up will serve him real well and he'll hit much harder and should be a lot fresher late on along with his speed which Regis isn't used too seeing. It maybe silly in hindsight but going in I think he can make a statement and potentially stop Regis.
Slow feet, his defense is head movement with a low guard and he makes a lot of mistakes reaching and telegraphing shots. His offense is very predictable.

Wouldn't be that surprised lf haney wins a snoozefest though where he gets booed out of the build like Shakur did.
this is the most likely scenario imo

Haney builds up a fair lead early and wins a 9-3 type decision. A few ugly rounds.

Could be a frustrating night for Prograis.

              Haney schools him easily.

Haney by decision. That's the most sensible outcome.

So it's been established from the get go that Regis Prograis is the underdog in this fight. No one seems to be dis*****g it. The question now becomes, to me, at least, whether he will last the distance or get KO'd, which is a real possibility.
