100% true. Also Wlad retired after that fight (after Fury ran from the rematch). It was a good win for Fury but when you run from the rematch - shows a lack of confidence you can do it again. I remember also Fury spent the run up to the fight saying how old and over-the-hill Wlad was. Commenting on his grey hair etc...

In Fury's defense......I beleive that he was hospitalized leading up to that rematch; and Wladimir presented nothing to worry Fury in their first fight, which was fairly one sided.

Not saying I don't think AJ can win but his current headpace is going to make it difficult.

It's not surprising that Wilder is and should remain the betting favorite, upon examination of what each guy carries as strenghts and liabilities.

But they matter far less than the version of the fighter who shows up on the night.

Hatton didn't get a gift decision against Collazo. I had it 6 rounds apiece but Hatton as the winner by 1 point due to the KD. It was the same kind of fight Jacobs had with Chenko. The KD was the deciding factor.

But if a loss which wasn't even a loss against a good prime world class fighter proves you're overrated. Tell me what you think about Ali losing 3 times to a decent fighter in Norton?
